This road safety officer who is supposed to be cautioning road users on the reasons not to drink before and while driving, he himself has been caught to be offender of safety rules after hitting a vehicle.
A video has emerged of a two star road safety officer by the name B. Ojeamiren behind his steering wheels heavily drunk on a very hot afternoon. Ojeamiren ran into the back of a Mercedez Benz G-Wagon.
You can hear the furious driver of the Mercedez and onlookers scolding the drunken road safety officer, while telling him "you have just lost your job" and "that this video will go viral".
You can also hear the drunken officer pleading in a drunken style saying "I am sorry....."
The kind of people that are being recruited into government para- status should be properly checked and screened, this will eradicate negative incident from re-occurring.
Indiscipline is not welcome in offices such as that of road safety where road users life will be endangered.
