OPU KL/SELANGOR REGION END OF YEAR DINNER AWARD NIGHT

On the 8th of December 2018, the entire members of Oodua Progressive Union (OPU) Malaysia hosted invitees to it's dinner / award night at Signature Summit Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Oodua Progressive Union (OPU) is a pan Yoruba Organization, formed in 2011 to create enabling environment and good relationship among the son's and daughter's of Yoruba's in Diaspora.

It's Vision: Oodua Progressive Union (OPU) Kuala Lumpur and Selangor region is a Non - governmental or religious organization. We are to strengthen the fabric of cohesion and integration of Yoruba son's and daughter's outside the shores of it's ancestral land to create peace, unity and economic opportunity for every of it's members globally.

The organization stimulate and nurture interests of Yoruba's in it's rich culture and heritage of the people, and to help discover the power and richness of it history.

The event brought together Nigerians from other ethnic groups, including the local Malaysians were present to witness the grandiose occasion which usher in some of Yoruba cultural display, various types of food and drinks were served as guest are trilled to the sweet melodies by a Yoruba Music Band.

The 8th December 2018 event was a very colorful one, filled with display by Oodua ladies, there were also showcase of  Masquerade.

The dinner ceremony entertained community leaders such as the Urhobo Community, Edo Community, Igbo Community, Hausa Community, local Malaysians and many more.
