RWANDA - Africa's Fastest Developing Nation From The Eastern Part Of Africa, Rwanda

Paul Kagame (Rwanda President)
President Paul Kagame of Rwanda has said that: ''I would rather argue, that we need to mobilize the right mindsets, rather than more funding. Africa has everything it needs, in real terms, but Africans remain mentally married to the idea that nothing can get moving without external finance. We are even begging for things we already have. That is absolutely a failure of mindset.''

These are some of the areas Rwanda has improved greatly, which most of us might not know.

1) Rwanda is the first country in the world to use 'Drone Technology' in it's Healthcare structure, to transfer blood and medicine to hospitals and health facilities nationwide.

2) In Rwanda, healthcare is free. Rwanda has also provided universal eye care for its citizens. The public schools are so advanced and effective, that private schools had to close in mass numbers due to low patronage of students.

3) Rwanda made history on Friday night February 27, 2019, the country launched the first ever Satellite in its skies to connect schools with internet across its remote parts of the country. The country (Rwanda) was once ranked as 150 in doing business in the world. Today, it is ranked 29th in the world, and 2nd in whole of Africa.

8) Kigali, Rwanda's capital, is the cleanest city in Africa. Why? The country's 2008 ban on non-biodegradable plastic and the mandatory Saturday monthly clean up practice called Umuganda, loosely translated as ''coming together to achieve a common purpose''.

9) Rwanda launches the first coding academy that will produce a pool of experts in the field of software engineering in order to address, in a more sustainable manner, the current shortages of software developers on local and regional market.

The Rwanda government is truly trying to take the lead by setting the pace and showing the rest of African leaders that truly African countries can do it on it's own and become the best among others in the world. Other African leaders/president should kindly take caution and do the same just as Rwanda is doing.
