Ex-governor of Borno State, Ali Modu Sheriff's convoy was attacked by Boko Haram terrorists, three policemen were killed and other two civilians.
Newsmen gathered that the terrorists attacked the convoy while traveling from Abuja to Maiduguri to attend the three day prayer of Mr. Sheriff's late father Alhaji Galadima Modu, who had passed following a fire outbreak at his home in Maiduguri on Thursday 23rd April, 2020.

SaharaReporters gathered that the Boko Haram terrorists started shooting at the escort conveying some group of legislative leaders of Borno State, including Ali Modu Sheriff.
Sources said the terrorists put up a rampaging fight against the guards, as it was recorded that five persons including three policemen were among those killed.
