Amb. Dr. Favor Obakoro SSA To Delta State Governor, His Excellency Elder Sheriff Oborivwori, on Morals and Diaspora Affairs. On September 5th, 2024, Amb. Dr. Favor Obakoro, the Senior Special Assistant on morals and diaspora affairs to the Delta State Governor, His Excellency Elder Sheriff Oborivwori, visited Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in the South Eastern part of Asia.

During her week-long visit, Dr. Favor played a pivotal role in promoting positive interactions and discussions that shed a favorable light on Delta State in Nigeria. Her itinerary included visits to the Nigerian High Commission office, YPC International College, Unirazak, a solar company, a water treatment firm, and an organization called NAWEM, which focuses on supporting the female gender. One of the highlights of Dr. Obakoro's visit was her meeting with the Chief Minister of Selangor Malaysia, YB. TUAN IR. IZHAM BIN HASHIM. Throughout her meetings, she made sure to promote awareness about Delta State and its Governor, His Excellency Elder Sheriff Oborivwori as she source for foreign investment partnership to which Delta State can benefit.

In addition to these activities, Dr. Favor Obakoro inaugurated the coordinators of the Deltans In Diaspora Malaysia Chapter, in the presence of officials from the Nigerian High Commission in Malaysia and representatives from Delta Central Senatorial District, Delta North Senatorial District, and Delta South Senatorial District.
