Halima Abubakar Says, "Pardon my Deception," in an Apology to Apostle Johnson Suleman.

Prominent Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar has extended an apology to Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries for defaming him. Abubakar acknowledged her role in disseminating false information about Suleman, which resulted in emotional distress for him, particularly through social media platforms. The conflict between Halima Abubakar and Apostle Suleman began in 2022 when the actress experienced health issues following a dispute with the clergyman. During her illness, Abubakar's family publicly urged Suleman to refrain from contacting her. Despite widespread speculation that the actress was suffering from an autoimmune condition, she refuted these claims by releasing her medical documentation. In her correspondence to Apostle Suleman, Halima Abubakar formally requested his forgiveness. She conveyed profound remorse for damaging his reputation and expressed hope that her letter might help mend the rift to some degree. The letter states: “I acknowledge that I made unfounded accusations against you and deeply regret my actions and the harm I inflicted upon you, your wife, Dr. Lizzy Suleman, your family, and the leaders of Omega Fire Ministry. “With this correspondence, I earnestly seek your forgiveness, understanding that my apology cannot reverse the pain, suffering, and distress I have caused. I implore you to find it in your heart to forgive me, as my judgment was clouded at that time. “I am sincerely sorry for all the pain and distress I have caused you, your family, and your ministry.”
