In Lagos, a Two-Storey Structure Collapses

A two-storey structure collapsed early on Monday morning on Amusu Street in the Orile Iganmu area of Lagos State. Mr. Nosa Okunbor, the Head of the Public Affairs Unit at LASEMA, reported that the building fell at approximately 8:45 AM, and fortunately, there were no casualties. In his statement, the LASEMA official confirmed that the collapse occurred independently at around 8:45 AM. “The LASEMA Response Teams are currently engaged in a Search and Rescue Operation at the site of the self-collapsed building on Amusu Street, near Baale Bus Stop, Orile Iganmu. “There have been no reported casualties, and further updates will be provided,” he stated. It was noted that the building had been evacuated prior to the incident.
