Reasons Why the Chief Judge Denied Justice Nyako's Request to Resign From the Nnamdi Kanu Case.

The Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice Tsoho, has declined Justice Binta's request to recuse herself from the trial of Nnamdi Kanu, a pro-Biafra activist. Justice Tsoho has also reassigned the case file to Justice Nyako for further proceedings. This information was shared with DAILY POST on Friday by a highly credible source who preferred to remain anonymous. The source provided several reasons for Justice Tsoho's decision, including: "Two other judges had previously recused themselves from the case." "The case has been ongoing since 2015." "The majority of the proceedings have taken place under Justice Binta, making her the most qualified judge to finalize the case." Furthermore, the Chief Judge has instructed that if Nnamdi Kanu continues to seek Justice Binta's recusal at the next hearing, he must submit a written motion accompanied by an affidavit outlining the reasons for his request. Recently, Justice Nyako stepped down from Kanu's trial in response to the activist's request. In open court, Kanu expressed his lack of confidence in Justice Nyako's management of his case.
