Controversial artist Habeeb Okikiola, widely recognized as Portable, has surrendered to the State Criminal Investigation Department located at Eleweran in Abeokuta, under the jurisdiction of the Ogun State Police Command, after a period of evasion. According to reports from Trust Base News, Portable was declared wanted for allegedly orchestrating an attack on government officials by a group of thugs. In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, announced his arrival, stating: “We wish to inform the public that Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, arrived at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Eleweran, Abeokuta, at precisely 13:23 hours today, February 19, 2025. “His visit to the State Criminal Investigation Department is related to an ongoing investigation. The Command assures the public that due process will be adhered to in the handling of this case, and updates will be provided as necessary. “We encourage the public to remain calm and refrain from disseminating unverified information. The Ogun State Police Command is dedicated to upholding justice and ensuring public order.”
