This guidance was delivered on Sunday by Apostle Godfrey Omodubor at the Faith Gospel Revival Deliverance Ministries Worldwide in Eteqwe, the capital of Bayelsa State, during a ceremony honoring him. The accolade, presented by the organizers of the esteemed Bayelsa Media Network Award (B.M.N.A), recognized him as the 'Prophet of the Year 2025' for his exceptional compassion and dedication to the people. Prophet Godfrey Omodubor expressed his gratitude for the award, viewing it as a motivation to further serve society. He remarked, 'I did not anticipate this recognition, nor did I seek it, but as it pleases God to honor me in this manner, I am truly grateful and pray for the strength to do even more.' He emphasized that when God calls an individual, He provides the necessary support for success, which requires patience, perseverance, and diligence. 'God is neither a magician nor a debtor; He rewards everyone at the appropriate time and season.' He extended his thanks to the organizers for acknowledging his modest contributions to society. During the award presentation, Mr. Blessing Ozegbe, Project Manager of the Bayelsa Media Network Award, stated that the recognition stemmed from Apostle Godfrey Omodubor's significant contributions to societal development. He characterized the clergyman as diligent and devoted, noting that despite his role as a spiritual leader, he actively engages with individuals both within and beyond his community. 'We have been observing him closely, and based on our investigations and the testimonies of those around him, he is indeed a man of God, exemplifying humility and respect for individuals of all ages. His character is commendable, and I hope other clergymen will take inspiration from him. “This is an award that is not commonly given and because we couldn’t find a worthy person last year, this category was suspended and by the grace of God this year, we discovered this man of humility, full of love and sacrifice to be given the award “. He encourage the man of God not relent in doing good to people and to see his calling as a genuine call from God. The award ceremony was witnessed by his large congregation and visitors which also happened to be his birthday.
